I have also assessed and mentored writers for the New Zealand Society of Authors, mentored through The Creative Hub, judged national creative writing awards, and marked Master’s-level creative writing for several New Zealand universities.

My published works include three novels with Penguin Random House (Purgatory, The Unreliable People, Crazy Love) and two volumes of poetry (Little Rock, Over Lunch). I have held residencies at the University of Waikato, Michael King Writers’ Centre, and internationally.

This wide experience in both academic and literary contexts ensures I bring a rigorous, professional, and supportive approach to every manuscript I assess.
