In March 2023, Rosetta was honoured to be the recipient of an Established Writer residency. She spent three weeks in the historic Signalman’s House on Mount Victoria, Devonport, Auckland, overlooking the picturesque Waitemata Harbour. During her time she focussed on research, story structure and developing the characters for her fourth novel.

Gabriela Garci, author of the novel Of Women and Salt (a New York Times bestseller, The Washington Post notable book of 2021, and a Good Morning America book club pick), was also a resident at the Michael King Writers Centre during Rosetta’s stay. Rosetta says “It was richly rewarding spending time and sharing ideas together.”
